COMMUNITY LIBRARY
RESIDENTIAL: PROPOSED COMMUNITY LIBRARY
CLASS: Architectural Design Studio IV.
WORK TIME: 5 WEEKS.
The brief of the project was to design a functional and creative COMMUNITY LIBRARY to be located at Bariga, Lagos State as part of the grand scheme of the urban renewal project carried out previously.
The structure should primarily be able to serve as an architectural medium between the people of Bariga and information while also attempting to promote communal relations among people in Bariga for the purpose of sharing knowledge.

The idea surrounding the conceptualization of this public library is FREE FORM DESIGN.
The use of curves is employed to create fluid physical and visual spaces, in an attempt to structurally re-define the traditional format of library design.
